Trip Book
One of the final things I do in preparation for one of our adventure trips is put my Trip Book together. The Trip Book contains all the information that I have assembled. It includes the following items:
- Maps
- Permits
- Itinerary
- Menus
- Gear Lists
- Downloaded information
- Books
- Misc. Items
The goal is to have one point that we go to for any of the information pertaining to our trip. The gear check lists should be complete prior to trip departure. By having them in the trip book I can add notes for items that need to be added or can be removed.
It is one day before the departure for our next adventure and I just finished putting the trip book together. It makes me feel like things are coming together.
Thanks for posting this site. It’s well written and clear. The photos are great. The lists for recovery equipment and expedition checklists were fun to compare with my own, and I’m adding a few things. Love the tool idea which solves my “bucket of tools” problem.
