The rear spring shackles on the M416 are not very durable and they have a tendency to bend. There is any easy replacement that fixes this problem. I ordered replacement shackles for an early build jeep that add about 3/4″ lift as well as strengthen the build.
The replacement was an easy 20 minute job.
